Abstract

This paper aims to identify the policies that influence the location decisions of multinational firms’ R&D centers in Türkiye and China. It compares the incentive policies for R&D activities in Türkiye and China, analyzes the political factors required for R&D centers, and conducts a comparative analysis of the human resources and legal regulations required for R&D activities. The results of this study reveal important insights into the effectiveness of policies towards R&D activities in Türkiye and China.
